Clientwise provides portals between legal teams and their clients. Through this portal, clients are guided through the process of providing information and documents relevant to their cases. Clientwise takes this information and organizes it into spreadsheets, timelines, and other tools legal teams use to build their client’s cases.

Clientwise has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our database provider, widely known to have the most secure data centers and the most advanced security technology available on the market today.

Clientwise uses end-to-end encryption for all data and files. Specifically, while files are in transit (being exchanged), Clientwise uses SSL/TLS encryption protocols. Once files are at rest in the cloud, Clientwise uses AES 256-bit high-grade encryption. To translate, this means that if a file were  intercepted in transit, it would be useless and unreadable. And even if someone were to get past the systems of our high security data centers, the files would still be useless and unreadable. This ensures client files are protected from both external and internal threats.

Yes. ClientWise is relevant in every jurisdiction. Clients’ budgets, estates, and the facts important to the custody of their children do not substantially change when they cross state lines. Even the mechanics of estate division are the same in every state in the U.S.

The law on matters such as the percentage of estate division, and what constitutes marital property, community property, separate or non-marital property change from state to state, but ClientWise does not make legal decisions. As lawyers, we leave that to or own judgement!

Yes, it is possible that a non-family law lawyer could use features such as the Clientwise timeline, and even the estate tools. We have had probate and guardianship lawyers tell us that the estate and financial features are helpful in their practices. That said, it is our hope that we will have more industry-specific products out for these niche practices in the near future.

Clientwise partners with Plaid, Inc., which maintains APIs with individual financial institutions to provide real-time banking data for authorized use in online applications. When a client signs into their portal, they are given the choice of either allowing their accounts to be linked, or periodically updating their balances manually.

Yes, Clientwise provides secure file sharing. Users  have the option of creating discovery files for case documents and granting limited permissions to download those files through secure third-party portals.
